Welcome This is the official website of the North Texas Chapter of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals. We offer a variety of opportunities for members, including monthly education programs, a bimonthly newsletter, community service projects, retreats, conferences, annual golf tournaments, and multiple leadership tasks. We invite you to visit us and become a member of our fast growing and active chapter. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month with a variety of professional development topics offered. Locations vary throughout the DFW area allowing our supplier members to showcase their properties and planner members to view different sites in a relaxed social atmosphere, Check the calendar of events for the latest information regarding educational topics and venues offered this year. |
Organization ProfileSGMP is a non profit professional organization of persons involved in planning local, state or federal government meetings, either on a full or part-time basis, and those individuals who supply services to government planners. Our objectives are to improve the quality and promote the cost effectiveness of government meetings by improving the knowledge and expertise of individuals in the planning and management of government meetings through education, training, and industry relationships. |
